Instructors

We have 2 PATH Intl certified instructors working for Happy Hooves.

Caroline Fritch

Caroline Fritch is a therapeutic riding instructor that has been certified through PATH Intl. She has been teaching people with special needs how to ride for over 12years. Caroline has had experience with all types of disabilities including physical, cognitive and emotional ranging from mild to severe cases. Her goal   is to strengthen and gain abilities that the client would not acheive through traditional clinical therapy.
Caroline grew up training and showing in the Hunter/ Jumper discipline.  As part of Happy Hooves, she has taken several groups of riders to the Special Olymics in Columbia, SC.

Avril Federanko

Avril completed her certification with PATH Intl in April 2011. She is proud to be teaching both adults and children at Happy Hooves.
Avril started her horse career in show jumping, but later moved to the discipline of dressage.  She continued to train in dressage for over 25 years.  Avril moved from England to South Carolina in 2008.  Happy Hooves is very excited that Avril decided to become involved even though her move to the States was supposed to begin her retirement!
